MVR, or Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an innovative and energy-efficient technology designed to significantly reduce external energy requirements by harnessing and reusing the energy from secondary steam that it generates. The core principle involves the compression of secondary steam produced by the evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process ingeniously converts electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in increased pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This elevated temperature then enables the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials, generating evaporation and achieving a remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization inherent in the secondary steam. This sustainable process not only optimizes energy usage but also contributes to environmental conservation.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To begin, the compressor base should be meticulously positioned on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely adjust the unit's level.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the wedge-shaped irons by spot welding them at 4 to 5 points. These wedges should be
fabricated and installed by the user based on the specific situation. Ensure the contact surface is impeccably finished for even contact on inclined surfaces, and be mindful that
the bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve precision. The unit's leveling criteria are exacting: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level adheres to 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with utmost care. Before initiating the alignment process, ensure the following conditions are met:
1) Disconnect the main power supply for safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to begin the process;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the flatness of the motor installation plane to confirm no presence of foreign materials, dirt, or any attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is larger than the bolt size, allowing for easy adjustment and alignment of the motor;
6) Secure sufficient stainless steel gaskets to fit under the motor's feet. These gaskets should be attachment-free and flat, avoiding long and thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Use a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a meticulous accuracy of 0.01mm, which should be prepared by the customer;
8) Prepare and position the bracket required to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying figure below;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing the indicator probe precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adjusting the surrounding bolts on the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to be essentially co-linear, or as per instructions, ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm. The motor shaft center should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, coupling end face deviation should be 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess both the outer circle runout and the coupling's end face runout.
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are adjusted, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation, or trial run, it's crucial to loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation is sensitive; any solid or liquid entry can cause significant damage. Ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines are thoroughly clean and meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. If not compliant, they must be rectified. It is strongly advised to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe leading to the compressor inlet.

3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. The installation of import and export pipelines should follow the PI diagram, with relevant pipeline accessories appropriately fitted. The compressor-connected pipeline must be supported by an independent bracket, ensuring its weight is not imposed on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supportive equipment are firmly in place and the concrete base has fully set, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This critical step ensures that all systems are operating smoothly and efficiently, validating the readiness of the installation for optimal performance.
3.3.8 To ensure seamless control and functionality, position the electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. Employ threading pipes to securely route the wiring underground, linking the compressor to the control cabinet. Upon securing the cabinet, meticulously connect its wiring terminals to the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring robust communication and control.
