These include the compressor body, which features a volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal, along with a coupling, motor, and a suite of electric instruments. This impressive assembly ensures optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency in various applications.
3.3.1 To initiate the installation, the compressor base should be precisely placed on the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adeptly adjust the unit's level.
Strategically alternate the positioning of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is meticulously leveled, perform spot welding on the wedge-shaped irons at approximately 4 to 5 points to secure them.
These wedges must be customized and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions encountered. The contact surfaces should be flawlessly finished to ensure uniform contact of inclined planes.
Please note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2.)
3.3.2 Employ a highly accurate level to ascertain the precision of leveling. The exacting leveling criteria for the unit are an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous attention. Prior to embarking on alignment,
1) Securely switch off the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Diligently remove the coupling shield to facilitate access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Scrutinize the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is devoid of any foreign matter, dirt, or obstructions;
5) Make certain that the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening when adjusting the motor;
6) Adequately prepare stainless steel gaskets to fortify the motor's footing, ensuring they are devoid of attachments and uniformly flat. Avoid utilizing elongated or slender gaskets when inserting between the motor and base for adjustment;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, as provided by the customer;
8) Prepare the bracket designed to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to fit the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe along the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts carefully so that the center lines of the compressor and motor align, with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. Note that the motor shaft center line should be slightly elevated compared to the low-speed shaft center line of the compressor, with coupling end face deviations between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclusively, tighten the motor foot bolts and verify the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for ultimate precision;
12) Post motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 After achieving optimum "levelness" and alignment of the casing, ensure all anchor bolts are securely tightened. Post any mechanical operations or trials, it is imperative to loosen and retighten the bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 Bearing in mind that the impeller is a high-velocity rotating element, any solid or liquid intrusion can inflict irreversible harm to the compressor. Thus, it is essential that the inlet and outlet pipelines maintain pristine cleanliness and conform to the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines failing to meet these conditions require immediate rectification. It is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the straight pipeline leading to the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. The import and export pipelines must be equipped with the appropriate pipeline accessories as outlined in the PI diagram. It is crucial that the pipeline affixed to the compressor is supported separately by an independent bracket, ensuring the compressor body bears no undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidification for maximum stability, you can confidently initiate the compressor operation test. This step ensures that everything is set for optimal performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring, essential for seamless operation, should be thread through protective piping and routed underground to maintain a tidy and secure setup. Upon finalizing the position of the electric control cabinet, ensure that the wiring terminals inside are expertly connected with the remote DCS lines for impeccable control and coordination.
