The core principle behind MVR is quite fascinating: The secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, is subjected to compression using a steam compressor with exceptional energy efficiency. This process effectively transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. As a result, there's an increase in both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This newly heightened steam then cycles back to the evaporator, where it dutifully heats the materials, initiating further evaporation. This cycle ingeniously facilitates the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, optimizing energy conservation and efficiency.
The DML Series Low Temperature Rise Steam Compressor is a meticulously engineered marvel, primarily consisting of several key components: a robust compressor body (featuring a volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal), a reliable coupling, a powerful motor, and sophisticated electric instruments. Each element is designed with precision and excellence to ensure optimal performance and durability.
3.3.1 Securely place the compressor base on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once leveled, spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 strategic points for stability. The wedge iron should
be crafted and installed according to your specific needs, ensuring a perfectly even contact surface. The inclined plane should exhibit an even
connection, with the wedge iron's load capacity not exceeding a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to ascertain accurate alignment. The unit's leveling precision should be: axial level at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal
level at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring flawless operational efficiency.
3.3.3 Achieve precise coupling alignment. Before commencing, ensure the following prerequisites are satisfied:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care;
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, or any attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes to facilitate bolt adjustments for motor alignment;
6) Prepare abundant stainless steel gaskets for motor support, ensuring they are clean and perfectly flat, avoiding long, thin gaskets to adjust between the motor and base;
7) Use a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (customer-supplied);
8) Prepare the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach a dial indicator at the edge of the wheel hub, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's external edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines, aiming for maximum deviation within 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center, with end face precision of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then verify the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling, ensuring optimal alignment;;
12) Following an idle motor test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section, completing the alignment process seamlessly.
3.3.4 After meticulously adjusting the casing's levelness and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, release and retighten them to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, spinning at high speeds, is susceptible to damage from any solid or liquid ingress. Thus, it is paramount that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and meet the steam corrosion grade specifications of the system. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. We recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines include the necessary pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline connecting to the compressor should be independently supported by an auxiliary bracket, avoiding any weight burden on the compressor unit itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supplementary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that every component functions seamlessly, promising peak performance and reliability.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5m radius of the compressor itself. The connection between the compressor and the control cabinet requires careful routing of cables through threading pipes, which should be securely installed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is properly situated, it is essential to diligently connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines of the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a harmonious and efficient communication flow.
