3.3.1 The compressor base should be meticulously placed on a solid foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims under the base to achieve perfect level alignment. These shims are crucial for stability and performance.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons strategically; once the unit reaches the desired level, spot weld these irons at 4-5 locations to secure them in place. Ensure that these wedges perfectly adhere to your environmental setup.
The wedges must be user-crafted to fit the specific installation scenario. Their contact surfaces should be finely finished for even contact, providing stability.
Plane contact should be uniform, and the load-bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve precise leveling using a high-accuracy level tool. Aim for an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm to ensure optimal performance.

3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is perfectly centered. Prior to alignment, confirm these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is switched off to prevent any operational hazard;

3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for better alignment;
4) Check motor installation plane for any debris, ensuring cleanliness and smoothness;
5) Ensure bolt holes on the motor are larger than the bolts, allowing for adjustment flexibility;
6) Stock up on stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they are clean and flat, to ensure precise motor alignment. Avoid using unsuitable gaskets.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy for precision alignment;
8) Prepare a suitable bracket for supporting the dial indicator as per the illustrative guide;

12) Once the motor idling test is successful, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section for a complete setup.
3.3.4 Post-aligning and leveling of the casing, anchor bolts must be tightened. After mechanical trials or operations, retighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds; any solid or liquid intrusion can be catastrophic. Ensure all piping connected to the compressor is clean and adheres to steam corrosion standards. Rectify any misaligned pipelines immediately.Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the compressor's inlet to avoid any material ingress.
3.3.6 Installation of inlet and outlet pipes should align with PI diagrams. Ensure all connected pipelines are independently supported, not relying on the compressor's body for weight.
