MVR, an acronym for mechanical vapor recompression, represents a groundbreaking approach in energy conservation. This cutting-edge technology remarkably reduces reliance on external energy sources by ingeniously repurposing the secondary steam energy it produces. At the heart of its operation lies a simple yet powerful principle: the secondary steam emanating from the evaporator undergoes compression via a highly efficient steam compressor. This transformative process converts electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an elevation of both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heightened temperature allows the steam to return to the evaporator, where it dutifully serves to heat the materials, initiating evaporation and thus fulfilling the recycling of latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, encompassing a meticulously crafted compressor body, robust coupling, efficient gearbox, state-of-the-art lubrication system, powerful motor, sophisticated electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design is optimized for maximum efficiency, offering a compact and streamlined structure that ensures ease of maintenance and reliability in operation.
3.3.1 With precision and care, place the compressor base integrally upon its foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely tune the unit's level.
Position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating sequence. Once the unit is perfectly level, secure the wedges with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The user is responsible for crafting and installing these wedges to match specific needs, ensuring a seamless contact surface (requiring uniform contact across the inclined plane).
The sturdy wedge irons must endure a formidable bearing capacity, not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to achieve precise alignment. The unit must meet these exacting standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure that these precision standards are met for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Before commencing alignment, adhere to these critical preparatory steps:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Detach and remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Disassemble the middle section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness to guarantee it is free from foreign objects, dirt, and other unwanted debris;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, granting flexibility to loosen and adjust the motor as necessary;
6) Gather ample, flat stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor foot. Avoid using long and thin gaskets to adjust between the motor and base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, which should be sourced by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket as depicted below to support the dial indicator;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Meticulously adjust the motor feet's bolts, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. The deviation must remain minimal, not exceeding 0.05mm for the outer circle, and 0.03~0.05mm for the coupling end face.
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, and reassess the runout of the outer circle and the end face of the coupling;;
12) After confirming smooth motor idling, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to conclude the process.
3.3.4 Post-alignment, ensure the casing's levelness is corrected. Fasten the anchor bolts firmly, then repeat this process post any mechanical or trial operation.
3.3.5 Recognize the impeller's role as a high-speed component—avoid any solid or liquid intrusion, as this may lead to irreversible compressor damage. It's imperative that inlet and outlet pipelines are pristinely clean.Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to safeguard operations.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, following precise PI diagram specifications. Ensure these pipelines are independently supported, relieving the compressor body of unnecessary weight.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its auxiliary components are securely installed and the concrete foundation has thoroughly cured, you can proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that all elements are perfectly aligned and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a 5-meter radius for efficient connectivity. To ensure seamless integration and safety, run the wiring through an underground threading pipe from the compressor to the control cabinet. Once this cabinet is installed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing a robust and reliable communication link.
