Installation Instructions

3.3.1 For optimal performance, gracefully position the compressor base on the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for perfect leveling, ensuring unparalleled stability.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is impeccably level, skillfully execute spot welding on the wedges at 4-5 strategic points to secure them.
The fabrication and installation of the wedge are the user's domain and must be tailored to the specific scenario. The contact surface should be processed to achieve seamless contact.
Ensure that the inclined plane connects evenly, with the bearing capacity of the wedge not exceeding 40 Kg/cm

3.3.2 Achieve precision leveling with a quality level tool. The axial level precision should be maintained at a finely tuned 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal balance at 0.10/1000mm.
Both measurements are crucial for the optimal functioning of your unit.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous attention to detail. Prioritize these essential steps before alignment:
1) Ensure the main power supply is safely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane for cleanliness, ensuring it is free of debris and attachments;
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes are appropriately larger than the bolts, enabling easy adjustments;
6) Equip the motor feet with an adequate number of pristine, stainless steel gaskets. They must be devoid of attachments and utterly flat. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a tolerance of 0.01mm (to be sourced by the customer);
8) Assemble the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;

9) Deploy the motor hub mounting bracket to fasten a dial indicator at the wheel hub's perimeter, with the probe delicately touching the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Achieve precision by adjusting the bolts around the motor feet. Align the compressor and motor along the same center line, keeping in mind a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, and ensure the motor shaft center line sits slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft.

11) Once aligned, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and meticulously review the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Conclude the process by installing the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idling test.
3.3.4 Secure the casing by adjusting its levelness and alignment. Post mechanical operation or a trial run, loosen and retighten the anchor bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must be shielded from any solid or liquid intrusion to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure that all pipelines linked to the compressor are pristine and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards.
Implement solid-liquid separation apparatus like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to meet these rigorous standards.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure pipelines match the PI diagram specifications and are independently supported, sparing the compressor body from bearing any additional weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has been allowed to cure to full solidity, you can initiate the compressor operation test. Ensuring everything is perfectly in place and ready for peak performance, this step marks a significant milestone in the preparation process.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency and safety, ensure the electric control cabinet of the compressor is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be diligently connected through grounding with threading pipe. Once the electric control cabinet is securely installed, make sure to seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within it to the extended lines at the remote DCS, completing the essential circuit for operational control.
