3.3.1 With precision and care, position the compressor base onto its foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to perfect the level of the unit.
Alternately arrange two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit is impeccably leveled. Secure the wedges with spot welding at 4 to 5 points.
The manufacturing and installation of the wedge should be tailored by the user to fit the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is flawless for even inclined plane contact.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Attain absolute precision by using a level to determine the unit's alignment. The axial level should be maintained at 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
Ensuring these precise levels is vital for optimal operational efficiency.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by ensuring the following prerequisites:
1) Safeguard safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Remove the coupling shield for unhindered access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's devoid of any debris or unwanted materials;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole offers ample space over the bolt size to allow adequate adjustment of the motor;
6) Have a ready supply of stainless steel gaskets to cushion the motor's base. Gaskets must be unblemished and perfectly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for base adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a highly accurate laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision (customer-provided);
8) Prepare the support bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning its probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub.
10) Through precise adjustments of the motor foot's bolts, align the compressor and motor center line to be nearly identical (following specific instructions), ensuring the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, with end face deviation at 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclusively, secure the motor foot bolts, then reassess both the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for assured alignment.;
12) After the satisfactory motor idling test, proceed with the installation of the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Upon initial or trial mechanical operation, loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 As the impeller is a high-speed component, any solid or liquid introduction could result in severe damage. Ensure the compressor's inlet and outlet are pristine and compliant with system steam corrosion standards.Incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for added safety.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, equipped with necessary pipeline accessories as dictated by the PI diagram. Properly support the connected pipeline with an independent bracket, ensuring the compressor body is free from bearing any additional weight.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its supplementary components have been securely installed and the concrete foundation has completely set, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test, ensuring that all systems are optimally prepared for flawless performance.
3.3.8 For optimal safety and efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. It is crucial that the wiring from the compressor to this cabinet is meticulously connected using threading pipes, which should be routed underground to maintain a clean and organized setup. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, ensure the wiring terminals inside connect seamlessly with the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) to guarantee smooth and reliable operation.
