3.3.1 Begin by securely positioning the compressor base on the foundation. To achieve perfect leveling, place wedge-shaped shims under the base. These are essential for adjusting the unit's alignment.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is precisely leveled, spot weld these wedges at 4 to 5 points. The user is responsible
for manufacturing and installing these wedges, based on specific conditions. Ensure that the contact surfaces are finely finished for uniform contact
across inclined planes. Note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to ascertain precision. The leveling requirements are rigorous: the unit's axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, and its horizontal
level at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment for the coupling. Before commencing, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Disconnect the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor's installation surface thoroughly to ensure it is free from debris, dirt, and extraneous materials;
5) Ensure the motor's bolt hole is larger than the bolt itself, allowing for easy adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's footing. These gaskets should be devoid of any attachments and be perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, allowing the dial indicator probe to make contact with the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor's feet to align the compressor and motor centerlines accurately. The maximum permissible deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft being slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft. The coupling end face should have a deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly, and then verify the runout of both the outer circle and the end face of the coupling;
12) Once the motor has been tested during idle operation, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 After achieving precise 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten these bolts to ensure optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, must remain free from solid or liquid intrusions, as these can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure that inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and meet system steam corrosion standards. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must be rectified. It isrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that the import and export pipelines are equipped with necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipelines connected to the compressor should be supported by an independent bracket system, ensuring that their weight does not burden the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its ancillary equipment have been installed and the concrete has fully cured, the compressor operation test can be initiated. This crucial step ensures that every component is performing at peak efficiency, setting the stage for optimal performance and longevity of the Modern Steam Compressor with Advanced Guide Vane Adjustment Features.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet in proximity to, within a 5-meter radius of, the compressor. Connecting the compressor and the cabinet requires precise underground threading pipe installation.
