Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by placing the reliable overall base steam compressor integrally on its foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, which are essential for achieving a perfectly level unit.
Ensure the alternate placement of wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is leveled to perfection, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons securely at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedges should be
custom-made and installed by the user, tailored to the specific situation. The contact surfaces must be expertly finished to ensure even contact of the inclined
plane, with a robust wedge iron bearing capacity that should not exceed the impressive 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve the desired leveling. The stringent leveling requirements for the unit state:
The axial level precision is 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level ensures a flawless 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Perfect centering of the coupling is crucial. Prior to initiating alignment, adhere to the following essential prerequisites:
1) Completely power down the main power supply, ensuring a safe environment;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access internal components;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section, allowing for unhindered access;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane meticulously, ensuring its surface is pristine, free of debris and attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes are amply sized compared to the bolts, facilitating easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to cover the motor foot. These gaskets must be pristine and flat, avoiding long, thin gaskets for adjustment;
7) A dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm should be prepared by the customer for precise measurements;
8) Assemble a bracket to support the dial indicator, as shown in the schematic below;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, precisely placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the motor feet bolts, align the compressor and motor center line. Ensure the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, achieving harmony between the motor and compressor with coupling end face deviations no greater than 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclude the process by securely tightening the motor foot bolts. Reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling to confirm alignment;;
12) Conduct a motor idling test, and subsequently install the coupling intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After initial mechanical operation or trial operation, it's crucial to loosen and retighten them for stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a vital high-speed rotating component, must remain uncontaminated by solids or liquids. Any intrusion could cause severe irreparable damage to the compressor. Hence, the connected inlet and outlet pipelines must be scrupulously clean and meet the rigorous steam corrosion standards of the system. Pipelines not conforming to these standards require immediate rectification. It's
recommended to install advanced solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or a sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor inlet, ensuring optimal performance.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that the import and export pipelines are equipped with appropriate pipeline accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. The pipeline leading to the compressor should be independently supported, avoiding any weight burden on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan alongside its supporting ancillary equipment, and following the complete solidification of the concrete foundation, you're all set to commence the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 For seamless integration and optimal efficiency, the electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Once the electric control cabinet is positioned perfectly, proceed to connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a synchronized operational framework.
