The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is meticulously crafted, featuring a comprehensive assembly that includes a robust compressor body, a precise coupling, a sophisticated gearbox, an efficient lubrication system, a powerful motor, an advanced electric instrument, and a proactive anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation, with precision placement of wedge-shaped shims beneath to ensure an impeccable unit level. This method guarantees the stability and perfect alignment of your compressor setup.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately to achieve optimal leveling of the unit. After ensuring precise alignment, apply a spot weld to the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 key points. These wedges must be
manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the actual situation at hand. The contact surface should be meticulously finished for an even contact of the inclined plane, ensuring seamless integration,
with the bearing capacity of each wedge iron not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain the precision of the leveling process. The leveling specifications for the unit are: a meticulous axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and an unwavering horizontal
level of the unit at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring perfect operational smoothness.
3.3.3 Achieve flawless coupling alignment by centering the coupling. Prior to initiating alignment, confirm these crucial prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield for clear access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free of foreign substances, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt hole size is larger than that of the bolt to allow for bolt loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Have an ample supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to firmly support the motor foot. They should be free from attachments and impeccably flat. Avoid using elongated and thin gaskets during adjustments;
7) Utilize a precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (supplied by the customer);
8) Provide a robust bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the ensuing diagram;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket serves to position a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, enabling accurate placement of the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the motor feet's adjustment bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines precisely, with the maximum allowable deviation of the outer circle being 0.05mm (ensuring the motor shaft center line is higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Finally, secure the motor foot bolts, then reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for unparalleled accuracy;
12) Proceed to install the coupling intermediate section following the successful motor idling test, ensuring seamless operation.
3.3.4 Once you have masterfully adjusted the "levelness" and alignment of the casing, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. Following a successful mechanical operation or trial run, it is essential to loosen and retighten the bolts to guarantee sustained stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a vital high-speed rotating component; any solid or liquid ingress can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. It is crucial to ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Should the pipelines fall short of these standards, rectification is imperative. It is highlyrecommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to enhance performance and protection.
3.3.6 Install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Import and export pipelines must be equipped with the appropriate pipeline accessories in accordance with the PI diagram. The weight of the pipeline should be supported by a separate bracket and not by the compressor body itself, ensuring the integrity and longevity of the system.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment are securely installed and the concrete has fully set, you are ready to proceed with the operation test of the compressor. This critical phase allows you to ensure seamless functionality and efficiency, paving the way for optimal performance of your system.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. Establish a robust connection by threading the wiring through an underground conduit, ensuring durability and safety. With the electric control cabinet securely stationed, meticulously connect its terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, creating a reliable communication network for flawless control and operation.
