3.3.1 The robust foundation for your compressor: Secure the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims under the base to finely adjust the unit level.
Systematically place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. After leveling the unit, skillfully spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4-5 points to ensure stability. The wedges shall be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual circumstances for optimal contact (ensuring even contact of the inclined surfaces). The wedge iron’s contact surface and
bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Master precision with ease: Employ a level to ensure exact leveling. The unit’s leveling parameters are: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
These precision requirements ensure seamless operation.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment with the coupling: Before starting, meticulously adhere to these prerequisites:
1) Ensure absolute safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to prevent any obstruction;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for thorough examination;
4) Check the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, ensuring it is free from foreign materials, dirt, and attachments;
5) Design the motor bolt holes larger than the bolt size to facilitate easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample flat, stainless steel gaskets to fit snugly under the motor. Avoid using long and thin gaskets between the motor and the base.
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy for unparalleled precision;
8) Ensure you have the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for placing a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, ensuring precision placement on the compressor wheel hub.
10) Achieve alignment by meticulously adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum deviation should be 0.05mm, with the
motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and the coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.11) Finally, secure the motor foot bolts, reviewing the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section for ultimate stability.
3.3.4 Once the "levelness" and alignment of the casing are perfected, anchor the bolts firmly. After a successful mechanical trial operation, re-tighten the bolts for enduring reliability.
3.3.5 Protect the high-speed impeller: Prevent irreversible damage by ensuring no solid or liquid enters the component. Keep inlet and outlet pipelines pristine, conforming to the steam corrosion standards of the system. Non-compliant pipelines must be upgraded. It is stronglyrecommended to install a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the compressor inlet to separate solids from liquids.
3.3.6 Seamlessly integrate the compressor with inlet and outlet pipes. Install relevant pipeline accessories per the PI diagram. Ensure the pipelines connected to the compressor are supported independently, without straining the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan along with all its supportive equipment is securely installed, and after the concrete has completely set and solidified, it is the perfect moment to proceed with the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 To ensure seamless operation and enhanced safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor.
