MVR, an acronym for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a cutting-edge energy-conservation technology that ingeniously minimizes the need for external energy sources by harnessing the power of its own generated secondary steam. The core principle of this technology is to take the secondary steam produced by the evaporator and efficiently compress it with a high-performance steam compressor. This process smartly converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The increased temperature of the steam is then cycled back to the evaporator to heat materials, inducing further evaporation. This remarkable mechanism allows for the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, achieving unparalleled energy efficiency.
The oil-film high-speed direct drive steam compressor represents a revolutionary advancement in turbine technology, equipped with a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor. Its innovative design features an impeller strategically mounted at the shaft extension end of the motor, while the rotor is expertly supported by an oil film bearing. This state-of-the-art configuration allows for direct drive by the high-speed motor, eliminating the need for a speed-increasing gearbox or coupling. This results in streamlined operation and heightened efficiency, making it an ideal choice for industry leaders seeking cutting-edge solutions.
3.3.1 Begin by securely positioning the compressor base onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve optimal leveling.
Position the two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating manner. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the wedges securely at 4 to 5 points. The wedge irons should be
custom-made and installed by the user to match the specific conditions. Ensure that the contact surfaces are finished, allowing for even contact of the inclined
plane. Note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2.)
3.3.2 Ensure precise leveling using a level. The unit's leveling requirements are as follows: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must be
0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment of the coupling. Before commencing alignment, please ensure the following steps are completed:
1) Power down the main supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for cleanliness, ensuring removal of any foreign objects, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts, allowing for easy loosening and adjustment;
6) Have a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's feet. Gaskets must be devoid of attachments and completely flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines closely (or as per specific instructions). The allowable maximum deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then check and confirm the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Following successful motor idling, install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are verified, tighten the anchor bolts. Following any mechanical or trial operations, retighten the bolts.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed component, vulnerable to irreversible damage from any solid or liquid intrusion. Ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and meet the steam corrosion grade requirements of the system. Rectify any pipelines that don't meet these standards. Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for installing relevant pipeline accessories. The pipelines connected to the compressor must be supported by an independent bracket, avoiding any weight support by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has achieved full solidity, the moment arrives to embark on the compressor operation test, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a strategic 5-meter proximity to the compressor itself. The wiring pathway should be elegantly laid out through a threading pipe that seamlessly navigates underground. Upon securing the electric control cabinet in its designated place, meticulously connect the wiring terminals housed within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless and efficient operation.
