Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally onto the foundation, ensuring stability by positioning wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These shims are vital for achieving perfect unit leveling.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is perfectly level, proceed to spot weld these wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points to secure them.
The user is responsible for manufacturing and installing the wedges as per the specific requirements. Ensure that the contact surface is finely finished to achieve an even contact on the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm².

3.3.2 Employ a level to ensure precision in leveling. The axial leveling requirement for the unit is a precise 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level demands 0.10/1000mm accuracy.

3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to guarantee safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield for unhindered access;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, and unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is larger than the bolt size for easy adjustment;
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. These gaskets should be clean and flat. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Use either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, provided by the customer;
8) Prepare the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the guide;

9) Equip the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator along the wheel hub's edge, ensuring the probe touches the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines closely. Ensure the maximum deviation on the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face deviation should be within 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly, then reassess both the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;;
12) After the motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once both the 'levelness' and alignment are impeccably adjusted, securely fasten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical or trial operation, loosen these bolts and retighten them to ensure stability.
3.3.5 Due to the impeller's high-speed rotation, it's essential to prevent any solid or liquid ingress, which may cause irreparable harm to the compressor. Assure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are thoroughly clean and adhere to the steam corrosion grade requirements of the system. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must be modified. It's recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.

3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with the relevant pipeline accessories as indicated in the PI diagram. The pipeline linked to the compressor must be supported by an alternate bracket, rather than relying on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its supporting equipment, has been securely installed and the concrete base has fully solidified, it's time to proceed with the compressor's operational test.
