Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Carefully position the compressor base onto the foundation, ensuring utmost stability. Place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to meticulously adjust and level the unit.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped shims. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, proceed to spot weld the wedges in 4 to 5 key points for enhanced stability. These wedges should
be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions. The contact surface should be finished to ensure even contact across the inclined plane.
For optimal performance, the bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Employ a precise level to attain the unit's alignment. It is crucial to adhere to the following leveling standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring meticulous accuracy for peak operational efficiency.

3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment. Prioritize confirming these essential conditions before commencement:
1) Safeguard by disconnecting the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's center section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it is pristine and free from debris or attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts for seamless loosening and adjustment;
6) Amass ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's base, ensuring they're flat and devoid of any attachments. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm—this should be customer-supplied;
8) Secure a bracket to support the dial indicator, precisely as illustrated below;

9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines as per guidelines, maintaining an outer circle deviation of no more than 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft, with the coupling end face between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then recheck the coupling for any outer circle or end face runout;
12) After a successful motor idling test, replace the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of levelness and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After any mechanical operation or trial, loosen these bolts and retighten to ensure optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed, critical component. Any foreign solid or liquid ingress could cause significant damage, thus maintaining clean inlet and outlet pipelines is vital to align with the system's steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines must be amended. It's highly
recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 For installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, it's crucial to equip pipelines with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure the pipeline is supported by a separate bracket, as the compressor itself should not bear its weight.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and all its ancillary equipment is complete, and the concrete is fully solidified, it's time to proceed with the thrilling compressor operation test. 3.3.8 To ensure optimal performance and safety, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself.
