The elevated temperature allows the steam to be redirected back into the evaporator, facilitating the heating of materials and promoting further evaporation. 3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base on the foundation, using wedge-shaped shims strategically beneath the base for flawless leveling. These shims are essential for ensuring an even and stable setup.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit achieves perfect levelness, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 key points. This will ensure stability.
These wedges must be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished to guarantee perfect, even contact on inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not surpass 40Kg/cm2.) for optimal performance.
3.3.2 Use a highly accurate level to ascertain the unit's levelness. The axial level precision requirement is an impressive 0.05 per 1000mm, while the horizontal level standard is set at 0.10 per 1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve impeccable coupling alignment by following these preparatory steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off to guarantee safety;
2) Diligently remove the coupling shield to access the components;
3) Carefully extract the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for thorough alignment;
4) Inspect and verify the motor installation plane's flatness to ensure it is free of foreign objects, dirt, or attachments, maintaining a pristine surface;
5) Confirm that the motor bolt holes are substantially larger than the bolts to allow for precise motor adjustments;
6) Equip yourself with a sufficient quantity of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. These gaskets must be perfectly flat and devoid of any attachments to ensure optimal stability. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a state-of-the-art laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which should be sourced by the customer;
8) Prepare an appropriate bracket for securely supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is specifically designed for mounting a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, allowing the dial indicator probe to rest on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for precise calibration;
10) Carefully adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor centerline. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft centerline is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft centerline, with coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm;
11) Finally, securely tighten the motor foot bolts and meticulously review both the outer circle runout and the coupling's end face runout to ensure impeccable alignment.
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test, ensuring everything functions seamlessly.
3.3.4 Once the casing's alignment and levelness are flawlessly adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts. After conducting mechanical tests or trial operations, loosen and retighten these bolts for consistent performance.
3.3.5 With the impeller being a high-speed component, it's crucial to prevent any solid or liquid intrusion that could irreparably damage the compressor. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Rectify any pipelines that fall short of these conditions.Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Seamlessly connect the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Install all necessary pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure the pipelines are supported independently and not by the compressor body to maintain structural integrity.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its essential ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete has achieved complete solidification, only then is the system primed for the initiation of a compressor operation test. This phase is crucial to ensure the system's readiness and efficiency.
3.3.8 It is imperative that the compressor's electric control cabinet be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To uphold safety and functionality, the wiring must be routed through threading pipes and placed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely stationed, it is essential to connect the pre-designated wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.
