The core principle lies in compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process ingeniously transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This enriched steam is then seamlessly redirected to the evaporator, effectively heating materials and prompting evaporation, thereby achieving a remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization inherent in the secondary steam.
The DML series, renowned for its exceptional low temperature rise steam compression, primarily features a meticulously engineered compressor assembly comprising key components such as a volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seals. Additionally, it is equipped with a precision coupling, a powerful motor, and sophisticated electric instruments, all working in perfect harmony to deliver unparalleled performance and reliability.
3.3.1 Begin by seamlessly placing the compressor's integral base onto the foundation, ensuring it is equipped with wedge-shaped shims beneath for precise leveling adjustment.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, achieving impeccable leveling, and proceed with spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points to secure them in place.
These custom wedges should be crafted and installed by the user to fit the specific situation precisely, ensuring that the contact surfaces are finely finished for even contact on the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed an impressive limit of 40Kg/cm2..
3.3.2 Utilize a level for exact alignment. The unit's leveling precision should achieve an axial level of 0.05/1000mm with an exceptional horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure the highest standards of horizontal level, reaching a remarkable tolerance of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve flawless coupling alignment. Prior to commencing alignment, confirm the following meticulous prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield meticulously;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling with care;
4) Validate the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free of any foreign particles, dirt, or attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed the bolt size to allow for easy loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to effectively cushion the motor feet, ensuring they are attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for precision adjustment;
7) Deploy a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, prepared by the customer;
8) Have the necessary bracket ready for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Delicately adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines to near perfection, with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft. Maintain coupling end face runout at 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, and meticulously review the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout;;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, install the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operation or trial runs, loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed marvel; any foreign solid or liquid can cause significant damage to the compressor. Ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristinely clean and meet the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Pipelines failing to meet these conditions must be promptly rectified. Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring that the pipelines are fitted with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. The compressor should not bear the pipeline's weight; instead, they must be supported by an independent bracket.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and all associated equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, the stage is set for the compressor's operational testing to commence with confidence and precision.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency and safety, the compressor's electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter proximity to the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to this control cabinet must be securely established using threading pipes laid underground. Once the cabinet is firmly situated, it is crucial to seamlessly integrate the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a robust and reliable control system.
