MVR, which stands for mechanical vapor recompression, is a revolutionary energy-saving technology designed to minimize external energy consumption by ingeniously reusing the secondary steam energy it produces. The core principle involves compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, leading to an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This elevated steam then returns to the evaporator, heating the materials and triggering further evaporation, thereby effectively recycling the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor encompasses a variety of key components: the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This cutting-edge compressor boasts a compact structure, making it exceptionally easy to maintain while fitting seamlessly into various industrial settings.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be precisely positioned on a solid foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims to adjust the unit's level, ensuring unbeatable stability.
Alternate the placement of these wedges, and once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure them with spot welds at 4-5 strategic points.
These wedges are custom-made by the user, tailored to specific needs. Ensure the contact surface is perfectly smooth to achieve even contact on inclined planes.
The load-bearing capability of any wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve perfection. The unit's exacting leveling requirements: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal precision of 0.10/1000mm.
The horizontal level of the unit must meet an exacting standard of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve precise coupling alignment. Prior to starting, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure utmost safety;
2) Carefully remove the protective shield over the coupling;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with caution;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, free from any foreign objects, dirt, or debris;
5) Ensure the motor's bolt holes are generously sized to allow for bolt adjustment, enhancing ease of motor alignment;
6) Acquire premium-quality stainless steel gaskets for motor footing. These must be immaculate and flat, avoiding any long and slender gaskets for inter-motor adjustments;
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, to be sourced by the customer;
8) Secure a suitable bracket for supporting the dial indicator, following the depicted setup below;

9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing a probe along the compressor's hub outer edge;
10) Through meticulous adjustment of the motor foot bolts, align the compressor and motor's centerline, achieving an outer circle deviation no greater than 0.05mm. The motor shaft centerline should subtly surpass the compressor's low-speed shaft's line, with coupling end face precision between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then verify and confirm the uniformity of the outer circle and the end face runout of the coupling;
12) Post-idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate segment for a seamless connection.
3.3.4 Once the alignment and levelness of the casing are adjusted, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operations or trial runs, it is essential to loosen and retighten these bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds. Any intrusion of solids or liquids can severely damage the compressor. To safeguard against this, ensure all connected inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Inadequate pipelines require immediate rectification.
It is recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation apparatuses, like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet to enhance protection.
3.3.6 Fit the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. All pipelines, as depicted in the PI diagram, must be equipped with appropriate accessories. The compressor must never bear the pipeline's weight; instead, use independent supports for stability.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete, and the concrete has fully cured, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial stage ensures that every element operates in harmony, promising peak performance and reliability.
3.3.8 For optimal safety and efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be securely placed within 5 meters of the compressor itself. The connection should be executed by threading pipes underground, ensuring both protection and seamless integration. Following the positioning of the electric control cabinet, meticulously connect the wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, creating a robust and reliable communication channel.
