Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To initiate the installation process, place the compressor base directly onto the foundation. For precise alignment, insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base as necessary.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion to achieve a level unit. Once leveled, secure the irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 points.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific installation scenario. Ensure the contact surface is impeccably finished for uniform contact on the inclined plane.
The wedges should not bear a load exceeding 40Kg/cm
2). Carefully manage these parameters for optimal performance.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the unit's alignment. The axial level must adhere to a 0.05/1000mm standard, while horizontal leveling should meet the 0.10/1000mm criterion.
Maintaining these levels ensures seamless operation and longevity of the unit.

3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Before commencing the alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to prevent any electrical hazards.
2) Detach the coupling shield for unobstructed access.
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling for better alignment flexibility.
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it is free from debris and obstructions.
5) The motor bolt holes should be marginally larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for necessary adjustments.
6) Equip yourself with ample flat, stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, as per customer's provision.
8) Have a sturdy bracket ready to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below.

9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for placing the dial indicator on the hub edge accurately.
10) Adjust bolts around motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for outer circles, with the motor shaft line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft.

11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly and verify the runout of both the outer circle and coupling end face for precision.;
12) Once satisfactory alignment is achieved, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test for assurance.
3.3.4 Evaluate the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing. Once confirmed, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, re-loosen and retighten these bolts for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, is vulnerable to damage from foreign substances. Ensure all pipelines connected to the compressor are devoid of contaminants and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification.
Integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to include necessary pipeline accessories. The connected pipelines should be independently supported by separate brackets, ensuring no additional weight burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete foundation has reached perfect solidification, you are ready to embark on the exhilarating compressor operation test journey.
3.3.8 It's imperative that the electric control cabinet of the compressor is strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. To ensure seamless connectivity, threading pipe should be used to channel the wiring underground from the compressor to the electric control cabinet. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, expertly link the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) lines, ensuring optimal performance and precision control.
