3.3.1 Begin the installation journey by placing the compressor base integrally upon the foundation. Carefully introduce wedge-shaped shims underneath the base, expertly crafted to achieve impeccable level adjustment.
Position two wedge-shaped irons in perfect alternation. Once the unit's leveling is flawless, seal the arrangement with a secure spot weld across 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges are
to be custom-manufactured and installed by the user, adapting to the unique circumstances of the setting. Ensure that contact surfaces are meticulously finished, achieving even contact on inclined
planes. The formidable bearing capacity of each wedge iron should be capped at a reliable 40Kg/cm2.)
3.3.2 Harness the precision of a level to achieve impeccable alignment. The unit's axial level demands an exacting standard of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level must meet the rigorous threshold of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Master the art of coupling alignment. Prior to embarking on this endeavor, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Remove the protective shield guarding the coupling;
3) Detach the coupling's diaphragm intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is pristine, devoid of any foreign matter, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes exceed the size of the bolts, permitting effortless loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Gather sufficient stainless steel gaskets to adeptly cover the motor's feet. The gaskets must be immaculate and perfectly flat, avoiding long and thin shims for adjustment between motor and base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment tool boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm (supplied by the customer);
8) Prepare an optimal bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the illustrative figure below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket serves as the ideal platform for the dial indicator, positioning the probe along the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) With meticulous adjustment of the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to perfection (or follow the specific instructions). Allowable maximum deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line gracefully poised above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once alignment is achieved, secure the motor foot bolts, then diligently recheck the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 Upon mastering the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, steadfastly tighten all anchor bolts. After a successful mechanical operation or trial run, slightly loosen and retighten the bolts for absolute security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, demands pristine conditions. Any intrusion of solid or liquid matter risks irreversible damage to the compressor. Therefore, ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connecting to the compressor are impeccably clean and align with the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines necessitate rectification. It is stronglyadvised to install solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to safeguard performance.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Install all relevant pipeline accessories in accordance with the PI diagram. Support the pipeline connected to the compressor with an independent bracket, ensuring that its weight does not bear down on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with all its associated equipment has been expertly installed and the concrete foundation has reached complete solidity, it’s time to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is functioning seamlessly, ready to deliver optimal performance.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter range of the compressor to ensure efficient operation. Utilize threading pipe to meticulously connect the wiring from the compressor, ensuring it is routed underground for protection and safety. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, proceed to integrate the wiring terminals within the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless remote control and monitoring.
