3.3.1 The robust base of the Split Base Watervapour Compressor with Speed Regulation and Control is to be meticulously set on the foundation. Beneath this base, thoughtfully place wedge-shaped shims, expertly designed to fine-tune and perfect the unit's level.
Alternately position the wedge-shaped irons, ensuring precision as you achieve the desired leveling. Secure these with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. This procedure guarantees stability and should be executed with care and attention.
Users should craft and install the wedge according to the specific conditions they encounter. The contact surface must be flawlessly finished to ensure a seamless contact of inclined planes, maintaining an even distribution of weight.
The wedge iron's load-bearing capacity should not surpass an impressive 40 Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level tool to ascertain the axial and horizontal level of the unit. The exacting requirements are a testament to the engineering excellence behind this compressor, with an axial level tolerance of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level tolerance of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 The precision alignment of the coupling is critical. Before embarking on this alignment journey, please ensure the following essential prerequisites are satisfied:
1) Power down the main supply completely to ensure safety;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield to gain clear access;
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling with care;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane meticulously for any foreign particles, dirt, or attachments that could impede the process;
5) The motor's bolt holes should be suitably larger than the bolt size, facilitating a seamless adjustment process by allowing bolts to be loosened and the motor adjusted with ease;
6) Gather a sufficient quantity of stainless steel gaskets to properly support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be immaculate, flawless, and devoid of any attachments. Avoid using excessively long or thin gaskets for adjustments to prevent instability;
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter boasting a precision of 0.01mm, a pivotal tool for precise alignment;
8) Prepare the necessary bracket, as depicted in the accompanying diagram, to support your dial indicator effectively;
9) Utilize a mounting bracket on the motor wheel hub to facilitate the placement of a dial indicator on the hub's edge, ensuring the dial indicator probe rests on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for accurate readings;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet, achieve a near-perfect alignment between the compressor and the motor center line. Target a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line exceeds the compressor low-speed shaft center line with coupling end face tolerances between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Secure the motor foot bolts with confidence, then thoroughly review the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for assurance of precision.;
12) After executing a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section, completing the alignment process.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment have been impeccably adjusted, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. Following a period of mechanical operation or trial operation, loosen and then retighten these bolts to maintain secure stability.
3.3.5 The high-speed rotating impeller is a masterpiece of engineering precision, where even the slightest intrusion by solids or liquids can wreak havoc. It's imperative to maintain pristine conditions in the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor, adhering strictly to the steam corrosion grade requirements of the system. Any pipelines failing to meet these standards must be promptly rectified.Consider the addition of solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, strategically positioned before the compressor inlet's straight pipe, ensuring optimal protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring these pipelines are equipped with all relevant accessories in accordance with the PI diagram. The pipelines must be bolstered by separate brackets, as their weight should never burden or compromise the integrity of the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment are flawlessly installed and the concrete foundation is fully cured, the time has come to initiate the compressor's operation test. This step ensures all components function harmoniously and efficiently, paving the way for optimal performance.
3.3.8 Position the compressor's electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter radius from the compressor itself. To ensure seamless connectivity, utilize a threading pipe to route wiring underground from the compressor to the control cabinet. Once the control cabinet is strategically positioned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a robust and reliable system integration.
