Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To ensure a seamless installation, position the compressor base directly onto the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Alternately arrange two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring accuracy by spot welding them at 4 to 5 points once the unit is leveled.
These wedges should be customized and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions, with a focus on achieving an even contact surface.
The wedge iron must not exceed a bearing capacity of 40 Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Achieve precision leveling by using a reliable level. The axial precision required is 0.05/1000mm and horizontal precision is 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Before commencing alignment, ensure these prerequisites are fulfilled:
1) Power down the main system;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane’s flatness, ensuring it is free from debris or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts for easy adjustments;
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets for motor support. Ensure gaskets are flat and attachment-free, avoiding long and thin gaskets for alignment;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with 0.01mm precision, as provided by the customer;
8) Prepare the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator as demonstrated below;

9) Use the motor hub mounting bracket for dial indicator installation, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune the motor feet's adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, achieving a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft slightly above the compressor low-speed shaft, and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, and verify the coupling’s outer circle and end face runout.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idle run.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are achieved, tighten anchor bolts. Post-mechanical operation, it is advised to loosen and retighten them for enhanced security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed component, demands utmost cleanliness in connecting inlet and outlet pipelines to prevent irreversible compressor damage. Ensure these pipelines are pristine and compliant with system steam corrosion standards.
If not, install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 For the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes, adhere to the PI diagram for related accessories. Support the pipeline with an independent bracket, ensuring no undue weight is placed on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete and the concrete is fully solidified, embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that the installation is successful and the equipment is primed for optimal performance. Carefully verify each aspect of the installation to guarantee superior functionality.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and optimal operational efficiency, position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring should be elegantly routed underground via threading pipe to maintain a clean and organized setup. Once the electric control cabinet is stationed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a robust and reliable connection.
