3.3.1 The compressor base should be delicately positioned on the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve impeccable unit leveling.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly level, execute a spot weld on 4~5 points of the wedge-shaped irons to ensure steadfast stability.
Wedges must be crafted and installed by the user, customized to the unique situation at hand. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished for flawlessly even contact of the inclined plane.
The bearing strength of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain perfect alignment. The leveling criteria for the unit necessitate an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieving impeccable coupling alignment is essential. Before commencing alignment, confirm the following prerequisites:
1) Power down the main power supply to ensure utmost safety.
2) Detach the protective coupling shield with care.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section meticulously.
4) Ensure the motor installation plane is impeccably flat, devoid of any extraneous materials, dirt, or attachments.
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing bolts to be loosened for precise motor adjustments.
6) Prepare ample, pristine stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor feet. These gaskets must be flat and free from attachments. Avoid using long, thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, to be provided by the customer.
8) Prepare the specialized bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration.
9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket to mount the dial indicator strategically on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By meticulously adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines flawlessly. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Maintain coupling end face deviations within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then re-evaluate the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for precision.;
12) Once the motor idling test is satisfactorily complete, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment and leveling adjustments of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical run or trial operation, loosen, then retighten the bolts to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 As the impeller is a high-speed rotating component, any intrusion by solids or liquids can inflict irreversible damage. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification. It is highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, following the PI diagram for appropriate pipeline accessories. Pipelines interfacing with the compressor should be independently supported with an auxiliary bracket to prevent undue weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached complete solidity, it's time to initiate the exhilarating compressor operation test. 3.3.8 The electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The interconnecting wiring from the compressor to this control cabinet should be meticulously threaded through a protective pipe and installed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely situated, it's essential to link the wiring terminals within this cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring seamless communication and control.
