3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base seamlessly onto its foundation. Carefully position wedge-shaped shims under the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons; once leveling is achieved, secure them with spot welds at 4 to 5 points.
Craft and install the wedges meticulously according to your specific requirements, ensuring the contact surfaces are impeccably finished for even distribution.
Note: Ensure the bearing capacity of each wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit's exact level. The requirements are as follows: axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level accuracy of 0.10/1000mm.
The precision leveling is crucial for optimal performance and longevity.
3.3.3 Attain perfect coupling alignment by adhering to these prerequisites before commencement:
1) Ensure safety by disconnecting the main power supply.
2) Safeguard components by removing the coupling shield.
3) Carefully detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane meticulously, ensuring it is free from extraneous materials and contaminants.
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing for adjustments.
6) Gather ample flat stainless steel gaskets, devoid of attachments, to serve as supports. Avoid long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ precision tools such as a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm.
8) Secure a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below.
9) For precise measurements, mount a dial indicator on the motor wheel hub bracket, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Fine-tune the motor alignment by adjusting the bolts around its feet to align the compressor and motor centerlines, ensuring a maximum deviation of 0.05mm.
11) After alignment, firmly tighten the motor foot bolts and verify the coupling's outer circle and end face runout.;
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment, secure the anchor bolts after testing the mechanical operation. Loosen and retighten them to maintain alignment integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands pristine conditions; even minute contaminants can inflict irreversible damage. Ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines are clean and comply with the steam corrosion grade requirements of the system.Integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet to mitigate potential risks.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor inlet and outlet pipes, following the PI diagram guidelines. Ensure the supporting weight is borne by a separate bracket, not the compressor body, to prevent undue strain.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its essential ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has achieved full solidity, you are poised to commence the operation test of the compressor with confidence.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For optimal efficiency and safety, the wiring connecting the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be expertly threaded through dedicated piping, ideally routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, proceed to seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS).
