3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the robust compressor base directly onto the pre-prepared foundation. Beneath this foundation, insert expertly crafted wedge-shaped shims to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Strategically position two alternating wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is perfectly leveled, skillfully spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 points, ensuring steadfast stability.
It is imperative that the user manufactures and installs the wedge according to specific situational needs, guaranteeing a finished contact surface that facilitates even contact on the inclined plane.
To maintain optimal performance, ensure that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieving precise leveling is crucial. Employ a high-precision level to meet the stringent requirements: the axial level should not exceed 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level must remain within 0.10/1000mm.
Employ these guidelines to ensure optimal operational accuracy of the unit.
3.3.3 Proper coupling alignment is essential. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following critical requirements are met:
1) Completely disconnect the main power supply for safety;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor's installation plane for any debris, impurities, or attachments to ensure a pristine surface;
5) The motor bolt holes should generously exceed bolt size to enable bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Adequately prepare flat and attachment-free stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot with precision. Avoid using long, thin gaskets that might disrupt the setup;
7) For high-precision alignment, utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy level of 0.01mm, which the customer must provide;
8) Ensure the availability of a sturdy bracket for supporting the dial indicator accurately, as depicted in the diagram below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is strategically designed to facilitate the mounting of a dial indicator on the hub's edge, allowing for accurate measurements by placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer periphery.
10) By meticulously adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, achieve perfect alignment of the compressor and motor center line, adhering to a maximum allowable deviation of 0.05mm for outer circles, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation maintained at 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then diligently review the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling to ensure precision alignment.;
12) Once alignment is verified, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section after a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are adjusted to perfection, secure the anchor bolts firmly. After initial mechanical or trial operation, re-loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure steadfast security.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed rotating component, is vulnerable to irreversible damage from solid or liquid infiltrations. Ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are immaculate and comply with steam corrosion grade requirements. Any pipelines falling short of this standard must be rectified immediately.It is highly recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection and efficiency.
3.3.6 With precision, install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary pipeline accessories as indicated in the PI diagram. The pipeline should be supported by an external bracket to avoid imposing its weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its supporting equipment is finalized and the concrete is fully set, you are ready to embark on the compressor's operation test. 3.3.8 It is essential to position the compressor's electric control cabinet within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. For enhanced safety and organization, utilize threading pipes to connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet underground. Once the control cabinet is securely installed, proceed to link the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a harmonious integration of your system's components.
