3.3.1 The compressor base should be seamlessly placed on the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve optimal leveling.
Place alternating wedge-shaped irons under the base. Once the unit's level is perfect, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The user is encouraged to craft and place the wedge based on actual requirements, ensuring that the contact surfaces are impeccably finished for even contact.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to determine the unit's exact level. The stringent leveling criteria: axial level of 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
These precise measurements ensure unparalleled stability and efficiency.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by undertaking the following meticulous steps:
1) Ensure safety first—turn off the main power supply.
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield.
3) Extract the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling.
4) Meticulously check the motor installation plane's flatness to ensure it's devoid of any obstructions or debris.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing for convenient adjustments; this flexibility is crucial.
6) Prepare an ample supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to stabilize motor feet, avoiding long and thin adjustments.
7) Utilize a precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, essential tools for precise alignment.
8) Set up a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the schematic below.
9) Secure the motor wheel hub mounting bracket and strategically place the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust motor foot bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines precisely, achieving a maximum deviation of only 0.05mm.
11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts and reviewing coupling runout accuracies for optimal operation.;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment, secure the anchor bolts firmly. After mechanical operations, revisit and retighten for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands protection from any solid or liquid intrusion. Ensure cleanliness of all connecting pipelines.
3.3.6 Expertly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes, adhering to precise PI diagrams. Pipelines must be securely supported by separate brackets.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its supporting equipment is complete, and the concrete foundation has achieved full solidity, you can proceed to conduct the crucial compressor operation test, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 Ensure that the electric control cabinet of the compressor is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for seamless operations. The electrical connections between the compressor and the control cabinet should be expertly conducted using a threading pipe, discreetly routed underground. Once the cabinet is securely in place, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing flawless integration and control.
