It significantly minimizes the need for external energy resources by ingeniously reusing the energy derived from secondary steam it generates. The essence of MVR lies in its fundamental principle: the secondary steam produced by the evaporator undergoes compression via a highly efficient steam compressor. This process ingeniously transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, leading to an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This temperature elevation allows the secondary steam to return triumphantly to the evaporator, where it effectively heats materials and induces evaporation. Consequently, this remarkable cycle achieves the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, marking a significant step towards energy efficiency and sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor boasts a sophisticated yet accessible design, comprising essential components like the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base securely on the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adjust and perfect the unit's level.
Place the wedge-shaped irons alternately for enhanced stability. After leveling the unit precisely, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points for maximum security.
Users should manufacture and install the wedges based on actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is flawless, allowing for even contact on inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm squared.2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to ensure precise leveling. The unit's axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should maintain 0.10/1000mm accuracy.
Both measurements are critical for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Centering the Coupling: Before alignment, ensure the following steps are meticulously followed:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety.
2) Safely remove the coupling shield for access.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Verify the motor installation plane is flat, free from debris, and ready for adjustment.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for necessary adjustments.
6) Equip with sufficient stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot, ensuring they are flat and free from obstructions.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, to be provided by the customer.
8) Have the support bracket ready for the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Attach the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, achieving a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for precise alignment.
11) Tighten the motor foot bolts and verify the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts for accuracy.;
12) Once the motor completes its idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section securely.
3.3.4 After fine-tuning the casing's levelness and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following a mechanical or trial operation, release and retighten the bolts to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, is prone to damage from any ingress of solids or liquids. Maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines that adhere to steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified.For enhanced safety, consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. Support connected pipelines with separate brackets, ensuring they do not impose weight on the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Upon successful installation and the complete solidification of concrete for our main fan alongside its ancillary devices, we can proceed with the exhilarating phase of the compressor operation test.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, position the compressor's electric control cabinet within a strategic 5-meter radius. Connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet using underground threading pipe, ensuring seamless integration. Once the cabinet is in place, meticulously link the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the remote DCS lines for efficient control.
