This series prominently features a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, sophisticated electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 First, gracefully position the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precision in leveling the unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is leveled to perfection, spot weld these wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedge must be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual environment, ensuring the contact surface is impeccably finished for even contact on the inclined
plane. Note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40 Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve the desired leveling. The meticulous leveling requirements are: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm, promising unrivaled stability for the unit.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with finesse. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness to ensure it is impeccably clean and free from debris;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing bolts to be loosened for motor adjustments seamlessly;
6) Amass sufficient stainless steel gaskets to sustain the motor's foot. These gaskets must be devoid of debris and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated, slender gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which should be procured by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the illustrative diagram below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the outer rim of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines meticulously, ensuring the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm. The motor shaft's center line should be slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and the coupling end face should maintain a deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely fastening the motor foot bolts, and double-check the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for flawless alignment.
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idle test to ensure seamless operation.
3.3.4 After the meticulous adjustment of both 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, ensure the anchor bolts are fastened securely. Post mechanical operations (or during trial runs), it is vital to re-loosen and subsequently re-tighten these bolts.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed rotating marvel, must remain pristine. Any solid or liquid infiltration will inflict irreversible damage on the compressor. Therefore, confirm that the inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are spotless and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Any non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. It issuggested to integrate advanced solid-liquid separation devices (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the straighter segments of the compressor inlet pipeline.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. The import and export pipelines must be outfitted with relevant accessories, as depicted in the PI diagram. Ensure the pipeline connected to the compressor is supported independently by a separate bracket, never reliant on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete, and the concrete foundation has fully cured, you may proceed with conducting the compressor operation test. This step ensures that everything has been meticulously set up and is ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically installed within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. For seamless connectivity, utilize threading pipes for the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, which should be discreetly routed underground. After positioning the electric control cabinet, ensure precision by connecting the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, establishing a robust and efficient communication network.
