This series is a comprehensive ensemble, comprising the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrumentation, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design is not just compact but a testament to convenience, offering effortless maintenance and reliability. Whether for industry or innovation, the DM series stands as a beacon of engineering excellence, designed to streamline operations with remarkable efficiency.
3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base with precision on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims to achieve a perfectly leveled unit.
Strategically place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is leveled, perform spot welding on the irons at 4 to 5 key points. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific environment. Ensure a flawless contact surface for maximum stability (uniform contact on inclined planes), and
keep the wedge iron’s load capacity under 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to meticulously ascertain the unit’s balance. The stringent leveling criteria are: an axial level accuracy of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is perfectly centered. Prior to engaging in alignment, adhere to the following critical preparations:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to guarantee safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield to allow access;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor’s installation surface for absolute flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and any unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure the motor's bolt holes surpass the bolt size, facilitating bolt loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Adequately prepare stainless steel gaskets to underlay the motor feet. These should be devoid of attachments and maintain perfect flatness. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (procured by the customer) for alignment;
8) Arrange a bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the reference diagram;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket facilitates dial indicator placement on the wheel hub’s edge, with the probe positioned on the compressor wheel hub’s outer edge;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines precisely. Maintain a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle (the motor shaft’s center should be slightly above the compressor’s low-speed shaft center), and ensure a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for accuracy.;
12) Post motor idling assessment, reinstall the coupling’s intermediate section for continuity.
3.3.4 Subsequently, after perfecting the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Upon mechanical or trial operation, release and retighten the bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 With the impeller being a high-speed rotating component, it is imperative to prevent any solid or liquid intrusion, as it may lead to irreversible damage. It is crucial to uphold the cleanliness and appropriate steam corrosion grade requirements for inlet and outlet pipelines interfaced with the compressor. Rectification is mandatory for non-compliant pipelines. It is stronglyadvised to incorporate solid-liquid separation apparatus (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) preceding the straight pipe at the compressor’s inlet to ensure purity and system integrity.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The compressor should not bear the weight of the connected pipeline; instead, employ an external bracket for support.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are securely installed and the concrete has completely set, you can proceed with the dynamic evaluation by initiating the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures everything is functioning optimally before full-scale operation.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet within a strategic 5-meter proximity to the compressor for efficient connectivity. Utilize threading pipe to run the wiring underground, ensuring a seamless and secure path from the compressor to the cabinet. After the cabinet is installed, precisely link the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the lines of the remote DCS, establishing a robust and interconnected system.
