Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base securely on a solid foundation. Ensure the stability of the unit by inserting wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, which are essential for achieving perfect leveling.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, carefully aligning them to level the unit. Secure the wedges in place by spot welding at 4-5 strategic points, ensuring unwavering reliability.
The wedges should be crafted and installed based on the custom needs of the user, with meticulously finished contact surfaces to guarantee even pressure distribution.
Note: The wedge iron should not bear a load exceeding 40Kg/cm², preserving its long-term structural integrity.

3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve the perfect balance of the unit. The axial plane must maintain a level of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal plane should be 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal performance.

3.3.3 Coupling alignment is critical. Before this vital step, ensure the following safety and preparatory measures are in place:
1) Deactivate the main power supply completely for utmost safety.
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield to access internal components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediary section, providing unobstructed access.
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for any foreign materials, dust, and debris, assuring a clean and flat surface.
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes, allowing for slight movement during alignment for precise motor adjustments.
6) Gather sufficient stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet, ensuring these gaskets are free from impurities and are perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment tool with 0.01mm precision for the alignment process. These instruments are to be provided by the customer.
8) Arrange the necessary bracket to firmly support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.

9) Employ the motor hub mounting bracket to attach a dial indicator to the hub's edge, placing the probe correctly on the compressor hub's outer perimeter.
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet until the compressor and motor share a central alignment, adhering to specific instructions. The outer circle deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft slightly elevated over the compressor's low-speed shaft. Coupling end face deviations should range between 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Conclusively, secure the motor foot bolts, and re-evaluate both the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling for impeccable precision.;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling intermediary section following successful motor idle testing, ensuring seamless operation.
3.3.4 Once both 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, tighten all anchor bolts. Post-operation or trial runs, loosen these bolts momentarily before re-tightening, solidifying the setup.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's role as a high-speed rotation element, any entry of solids or liquids can inflict irreversible damage. Therefore, it is imperative that all pipelines leading to and from the compressor remain pristine and adhere to system-specific steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be immediately rectified.
For enhanced protection, consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, prior to the straight pipeline approaching the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. These pipelines must incorporate the appropriate accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. It is vital that the supporting structure for these pipes is independent of the compressor to prevent undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with all its ancillary equipment, has been meticulously installed and the surrounding concrete has fully solidified, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 The electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor itself. To achieve optimal connectivity, the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet must be neatly concealed underground using threading pipe. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, proceed to connect its wiring terminals with the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a cohesive and highly efficient system setup.
